Short: BLOCKUS - a new worldwide re-release of old game -
          fixed & taped
Author: mayhem@amigascne.org
Uploader: lvd@dgap.mipt.ru
Type: game/logic_arcade

 Files:

readme.txt - this file
blockus.txt - asciiart
blockus_release.trd - release version (TR-DOS)
blockus_release.tap - release version (tape)
blockus_conversion.tap - ready-for-conversion version (tape)

 Requirements:

This game requires at least 48k of memory though has AY music
(unfortunately, no any beeper sounds).

 Credits:

...see blockus.txt made by sand^mhm.

 TR-DOS:

 Use blockus_release.trd

 Tape:

Use blockus_release.tap - shortest loading time

 Other disk systems:

Use blockus_conversion.tap. It consists of simple basic loader
and normal code block. The code is loaded and executed at #7000
(28672). Line 3 starts screen displayer code, which contained
in REM at 1st line. This code is fully relocatable. As long as
your DOS allows setting CLEAR at #6FFF (28671), you shouldn't
experience any problems. Warning: once run, this code swaps SP
and moves itself at #6000, thus effectively ruining all
basic-related stuff.

 Some info:

This game is originally by ZXPRO - division of Bitmunchers.
Now most members of Bitmunchers are in mayHem - thus mayHem is
the successor of Bitmunchers.

 Some more info:

If you feel your Speccy has hung up just after loading
finished, try to find and to press a magic "any"-key on your
Speccy keyboard. =)

 Special thanks:

...go to SMT (developer of Unreal Speccy emulator) for quick
bug finding - and also for an excellent emulator!

 Recommended:

AY/YM chip (or good AY/YM emulation).

 Spreading:

You can spread freely this product as long as you:

 - don't change any file within archive
 - don't change archive: no repacking, no files removing or
adding (please create new archive with this blockus.zip file
if you need to add BBS files)

In case of spreading on speccy-compatible data medium (tapes,
disks) you are allowed to spread freely this release as any of
*.tap files written on cassette, or as disk of your favorite
speccy DOS, which also must include this readme.txt and
blockus.txt files.
